I have heard so many mixed reviews of this book and have left it aside for months thinking I might not like it. So when a friend of mine said she had the book we organised a buddy read so I'd force myself to get round to it and ended up enjoying this book so much.The characters and plot were great and didn't find it to slow or long winded like some say it is. I enjoyed this thoroughly and if you enjoy historical/literary fiction then I can recommend.
