Library Of Souls | Review

Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs is the third and final book in the Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children trilogy...the end of a wonderful series. I loved this book, it was a great conclusion. I love the Peculiar world, its so well developed and unique, and this book sees the Peculiars in London. Jacob, Emma and Addison are on the search for their missing friends and the ymbrynes who have been kidnapped by the Wights. 

There were quite a few new characters introduced in this book, including Miss Peregrine's other brother Bentham, and mysterious tour guide Sharon. I really liked Sharon, at first I thought he was a bit untrustworthy but after a chapter or two he definitely grew on me. And by the end he was definitely one of my new favourites.

One of my favourite things about this series are the time loops, I'd love to be able to travel to different time periods like that, you could see some great places. This book was set in London, in the 1930s  or 1940s I think(and present), and it was a really interesting time period to see. Devil's Acre was a creepy, mysterious place that definitely fit the Miss Peregrine's feel! 

I really hope there will be more books set in the Peculiar world, even if they don't follow these characters. Its such a creative world to read about!

Red For Revenge | Review (Halloweenathon)

This was better than I expected and so far is one of the better Quick Reads that I've read. I will definitely pick up some more for sure. 

I would suggest reading all of these books with an open mind and knowing very little about the story itself. If you are a little fussy with novella's and short stories, you especially will need an open mind. 

So far my experience with these books has been pretty good, they are great to pick up if you don't know what to read or want to read something in one go, like myself. 

I can definitely recommend and I gave this 5 stars on Goodreads.

Barry Trotter And The Dead Horse | Review

This was one of the worst things I've read all year. Book 1 was great and I found it to be super funny, book 2 was as pointless as said in the title and this wasn't worth picking up. 

This one was more pointless than the first book and wasn't even remotely funny. I couldn't get to page 50 before putting it down, I can't recommend and gave this 1 star on Goodreads and Amazon.

Aristotle And Dante Discover The Universe | Review

This was a fantastic read that I'm pleased has lived up to the hype surrounding it. I was definitely not disappointed. 

This book is about self discovery, love and so much more. You feel for and understand the characters, despite everything you can't help but love them.

The writing and characters were all great and very realistic. If the author has written anything else I look forward to reading them.

A massive 5 stars and recommendation to those who like young adult.

Itchikan - Till Death Do Us Part | Review

Overall, I think think this book was good, despite the small things I had problems with (writing more than anything). 

The only problems I had was little bits of writing, such as the use of the word also being used a little too much. Nothing I can't get over though.

I found the main love interest to be done reasonably well, it wasn't insta-love at least, so is an improvement from other people's work.

I think there is potential with this series and expect the authors abilities will gradually improve.
